Our first actions in developing the Tarine resort dates back to 2010 and the project management of the Bike Slope, an easy trail linking the Mottaret area to La Chaudanne. The success of this first collaborative effort encouraged the town call upon our expertise several years later, in 2013, to improve the offering in the finest detail: downhill trails in the Tougnette and Pas du Lac areas, enduro and cross-country trails across the town’s territory, from the Col de La Chambre to more than 2800m up to Brides-Les-Bains at the bottom of the valley.

It was a flawless ambition that allowed us to express our multi-disciplinary vision of mountain biking on the ground.

At the heart of the 3 Valleys, the resort offers a varied and unique playground. During the project management work that followed, we had to take into account the restrictions in order to design coherent, integrated and easy-to-use facilities for mountain bikers. The layout which seems so straightforward was in fact the result of complex work !

In 2016, the resort had recorded more than 50,000 rides on the ski lifts, while the area only opened in 2011 !

The “Blue Line” trail is one of our greatest successes in high-mountain terrain: an easy trail that weaves down mountain pastures and which provides an unforgettable experience for all those who ride up-top, whether experts or beginners !

The woody areas are also landscaped in some sections, including at the bottom of the valley. The terrain is often more complicated and sensitive from an ecological point of view.

In Meribel, beginners can have fun, but so too can the experts! This demands precise work when designing trails and modules.

On most of the trails, you can easily play on more technical modules. If you don’t feel like it, there’s always a way-out, as is the case here on a blue trail.

The easier routes to ride are often the most complicated to design for us… this was true in Meribel !
